The “auspicious” in Feng Shui
The first time I read a Feng Shui magazine, I always come across the word "auspicious" used many times in describing Feng Shui symbols. Its like their lingo in the Feng Shui world. The word auspicious means promising success, propitious, opportune, fortunate. I think using the term "fortunate symbols" is easier. But then again I realized that Feng Shui sometimes don’t work the way its supposed to do when one mistakenly misplaced a symbol or charm. Instead of bringing good luck the other way around will happen, it will harm the person.
It makes me think that no wonder there are people who are called "Feng Shui Masters" who dedicated their life, time and energy in learning what seemed like an endless array of wisdom in Feng Shui. I called it wisdom because the way I see it, some studied Feng Shui even in the most expensive and the best schools but didn’t learn to know what Feng Shui really means to them. I dream of one day attending a class in Feng Shui like the school of Lillian Too in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but I realized that its best to learn Feng Shui by myself for now, little by little until I come to the point where I think I want to continue learning more about Feng Shui. I want to discover what lies ahead. Its not just about expecting a windfall of wealth (I wonder when will that come… LOL). Sure aren’t we all hope to have a good life?
But yeah, yeah, I know money isn’t the end and be-all. But now, its more on what Feng Shui really means to me. It gives me positivity and optimism.
My enthusiasm is so great now that my mind is racing and I can’t sleep at night.
Hence, I started blogging.
Until now, I still think that Feng Shui is a "double-edge sword" its good if you know the proper way of using it, but its bad when you don’t know how to use it properly. I read stories about a son getting sick or failing grades because of a mistake of using auspicious symbols. Hence, I will go on with my study and further reading and see if my perception that Feng Shui is a "double-edge sword" will change.
But for now, I am just so happy to go back where I started.
