Korean Recipe – Ohhh My Ramen!
If anyone of you ask me why I like ramen, I dunno the answer. When I don’t want to cook, I eat ramen; when I can’t decide what to eat, I eat ramen. I think because its easy, fast, filling and a yummy comfort food especially when its raining. I’ve been eating ramen since I was a kid, but recently, I realized how I like ramen a lot and wants to explore its goodness. Mind you, I am not a fan of instant ramen, I prefer homecooked ramen, where the soup is beef-based and with a little chili sauce. Wow! Ohh my ramen! Recently, my favorite is “Sarigomtang Ramyun”, its a Korean recipe. I ate that in a small eatery and of course they won’t let me know how to make it (tough luck), and until now I can’t find its recipe (sigh). I just know the soup is beef-based. But I heard the soup is made of beef bones boiled many hours and with selected vegetables. Now, now, don’t say yuck. Its so tasty believe me. There you go, now you know the secret of a tasty ramen is its soup and don’t forget the right noodles! So next time, I will post a pic of my favorite Sarigomtang Ramyun for you to feast on.
Oh by the way, just a health reminder, if you like ramen like I do, don’t heat your ramen in plastic cups/containers. You know its toxic. So let us just enjoy ramen but use glass, pyrex or ceramic… ooopss there I go again. If any of you know where I can find a recipe of Sarigomtang Ramyun. Let me know. Tnx!
