Wind chimes have been used whether for indoor or outdoor ornamental purposes. There are various designs and types like gecko, capiz, and even engravable wind chimes! perfect as gifts to your loved ones and friends. But did you know that wind chimes can attract good fortune? In Feng Shui, wind chimes are regarded auspicious. It is said that the best place to put a wind chime is in the north-west part of your house. The six-rod wind chime is the most auspicious especially if the the person who will hang it is the head of the family. It attracts influential people to help achieve good fortune. Some even believe that wind chimes can drive away bad spirits in the house.
I like wind chimes a lot. I like its ornamental purposes but what I like the most is the soothing sound it makes when the wind blows. We have 3 wind chimes in the house. I have 1 in my bedroom, 1 in my parents window bedroom and 1 in our main door facing north-west. I’m thankful that we have been receiving continuous blessings in our life. I dream to have a vacation house someday on top of a mountain and facing the vast ocean, I will fill my terrace with different kinds of wind chimes. Wind chimes are good collectibles.
