Feng Shui and Everything Fancy

Love is in the air! 3 days to go and it’s Valentine’s day cum Chinese New Year as well. Isn’t it great? We will celebrate love as well as another new year! Heh I don’t know about you but I like the awesome feeling of being in love and new year – which means I can start over with my new year’s resolution –  spend less, save more, eat healthy, write down goals, and the list goes on.

So I can’t let Valentine’s day pass without posting something about spicing up our  Valentine’s day by using feng shui.  First get a compass and locate the southwest area of your bedroom, this is the Marriage, Romantic and Happiness area. If you’re single don’t despair, just think that you’re lucky to have ample time to check out Mr. or Ms. Right.

A couple’s bedroom is a place for love and relationship. A place for passion and sexuality. Here’s what to do to let the chi energy of love enter your bedroom:

• Clean your clutter in the bedroom especially under your bed. The unused furniture or stuff that clutters the bedroom creates a negative energy that may result into fights and misunderstanding of married couples. For single men and women, the clutter will create a dull and stagnant energy that blocks all loving vibrations being sent your way.

• Remove photos or paintings of loneliness or broken heart. Are there sad photos or paintings in your bedroom? If you have these wall decors, replace it with happy photos or paintings, like a photo of a happy couple.

• Make a “Love shrine” in the bedroom. Place male and female paired items, like paired Mandarin ducks which is a symbol of marital union and fidelity or items like figurine or ceramic statue of loving couples.

• Put fresh flowers, candles, and your wedding photo in the southwest corner of your bedroom to boost the positive energy in this area.

Celebrate Valentine’s day everyday,  let your loved ones know how much they mean to you and how much you love them. I do believe that we can achieve everything we set our mind and heart into as long as we strive to make it happen.  Now if you want your ex back, that’s another story!
