I’m attracted to anything “flashy,” but I’m also a big fan of glow in the dark items. I couldn’t be more excited when I saw this glowing keyboard stickers from ThinkGeek. Why? because I have this huge desire to use my laptop in the dark. For more privacy with my recent “room mate.” Not that she’s nosy but it’s so cool to blog in the dark and type away.

The glowing stickers are so fun to see. As you can see in the photo above, it’s easy to apply – just peel and stick! But so much for my excitement these stickers are not glow in the dark items. They said it is made of high quality fluorescent print that reflects any ambient source of light. It works with the dimmest light like your laptop or desktop’s monitor or a small USB light. You can choose the colors that suit your mood – pink, blue, orange, yellow for only $9.95 each. I think this is awesome!

Love iPhones? You should because it’s the coolest mobile phone on the planet. I love their different applications, touch screen and sleek design. Many products came out in the market to protect your beloved iPhone, like invisible shield and silicone case,  but when I saw this wood iPhone shellcase and slipcase from Think Geek, I was blown away. Vers made these cool wooden casing. What I particularly like about it, aside from a good sturdy protection, it’s also not a bacteria magnet. In using silicone casing, depending on the temperature where you live (I live in a tropical country) “sweating” is inevitable. Hence, the silicon casing becomes sticky and germ factory. It is  eco-friendly as well because it is made of bamboo. As we all know, bamboo is a grass and always an available abundant source. If you want something more fancy, you can choose  Walnut or Cherry wood. In feng shui, wood is considered yin. Using wooden casing is particularly beneficial for yang people. Does the above photo of Steve Jobs looks familiar? Your guess is right! They said he looks like Moses holding a tablet. The only difference is Steve Jobs is introducing an iPad tablet where he claimed that “it will change the world.” I wonder how it will change the world? For starters, the touchscreen operated iPad will provide a convenient way to buy books, newspapers, play games, watch movies and TV shows and most of all you can use it to surf the web and use it as a smart phone. Yes, you heard it right,  that huge tablet as a smart phone. Sounds like you won’t even need a laptop with this new iPad. Using 3G wireless internet and telecommunications services exclusively for iPad will connect you to the world. 

With the above features, is the new iPad an all-in-one device? Could be… but we don’t know yet how it will perform when it’s out in the market soon. And that is for a whopping $499-$699 in the US. Hopefully, Apple will not disappoint their avid customers. 

For someone who likes all-in-one device, like the touchscreen printer-scanner-copier in one, GPS, etc., this is a new goldmine.  I like all-in-one devices, it means less clutter, more space. For a good review about Steve Jobs presentation about the iPad, click here. But if you’re on the verge of buying your eBook reader and on a budget, another choice would be Amazon Kindle. It will give you what you an eBook for a lower price.

I admit I love ramen, I can eat ramen anytime of the day. Who doesn’t like ramen? It’s delicious, warm, comforting. It’s one of my favorite “comfort food” to keep me sane. Call me crazy aside from the taste, to be able to enjoy the experience in attacking your ramen, it should be in a noodle cup with chopsticks. Ramen fanatics will swore this is true.

When I first saw this Washable Mouse on TV, I was like “Oh yeah awesome.” This is a perfect mouse for someone with OCD (Obssessive Compulsive Disorder) because you can wash your Mouse everyday if it makes you happy. You can soap it too as much as your heart’s desire, it is water resistant. Belkin boasts their Washable Mouse, but if you like something cordless Unotron 2.4 gHz washable wireless mouse is the one for you. I think even if you don’t have OCD, you might like to own one of these.  Microbiologists said that our keyboard is five times dirtier than the toilet seat and that is excluding the Mouse. Will these Mice do its job? You can read some of the reviews here. But hey, if this Mouse disappoints you with its performance at least you have the cleanest Mouse in town.

Modern interior home style is the “it” these days. Gone are the days of dark wooden panelings and dark furniture. The modern interior home designs that I now see have plenty of light, fresh, artsy, alive and very inviting to make anyone a homebody. These wall, decal and window stickers rock! What I like about it – it’s affordable, eye-catching, DIY and it doesn’t damage the walls/windows. You can stick ‘em and remove it when you want to without leaving any residue. Ferm Living designed these fab wall stickers and Emma Jeffs designed the window adhesives. They have stickers/adhesives for every mood and every room, like for a nursery room the animal tower stickers are cute. Check out these fabulous window and wall treatments I found from Feel More Human. My favorites are barcode wall sticker and white clover window adhesive. But if you want something totally different and something unique in your walls, check out the huge Finger Print wall stickers and Power Pole stickers. But there are so many designs to choose from.

In Feng shui, the shapes, materials and colors of objects you put in your home make the chi energy there more yin or more yang. If you like a room to be more yang (active) like your living room, go for the barcode wall stickers. Straight lines are considred more yang. While rounded shapes like the flora wall stickers are generally considered more yin (passive) so this is more suited in the bedroom where you want to get a good night sleep.

Whenever I find fabulous modern interior design/style for homes, I always feel a rush and it makes me happy that I discovered another great idea to design my home sweet home… soon. I can’t wait to move.
