Love iPhones? You should because it’s the coolest mobile phone on the planet. I love their different applications, touch screen and sleek design. Many products came out in the market to protect your beloved iPhone, like invisible shield and silicone case,  but when I saw this wood iPhone shellcase and slipcase from Think Geek, I was blown away. Vers made these cool wooden casing. What I particularly like about it, aside from a good sturdy protection, it’s also not a bacteria magnet. In using silicone casing, depending on the temperature where you live (I live in a tropical country) “sweating” is inevitable. Hence, the silicon casing becomes sticky and germ factory. It is  eco-friendly as well because it is made of bamboo. As we all know, bamboo is a grass and always an available abundant source. If you want something more fancy, you can choose  Walnut or Cherry wood. In feng shui, wood is considered yin. Using wooden casing is particularly beneficial for yang people. It balances the yin and yang in you. Too much yang means unrest.

Another eco-fab geeky gadget to add to your collection…tada! Bamboo Optical Mouse! We often replace broken mouse due to abuse in playing pc games, carelessness or just plain nutty. But imagine how many plastics will litter the earth because of broken mice?  Too many! Hence, Micro Innovations thought of using Bamboo wood as housing  for Optical Mice. I like the idea because when the mice are broken you can recycle the housing. Not to mention you have a nice looking mouse to caress. In this day and age, it’s important we think of ways to conserve and use less resources. As the saying goes,

Finally! Rechargeable batteries without tagging along the battery charger is here! How many times have you experienced your rechargeable batteries giving up on you just when you’re about to shoot awesome photos? I experienced it many times and it’s a total bummer. So when I saw this USBCELL rechargeable batteries, I can’t help but smile because finally I can eliminate the need for extra equipment especially when I travel.  You just plug it in your laptop while you surf or blog and you can instantly use it for the next photo session. Awesome isn’t it?  It’s Eco-fab because no need for extra equipment to recharge and that saves hours of power. Less clutter as well. Easy charge from any USB port. Currently, they’re available only in NiMH 1.2v 1300mah AA batteries. But let’s wait and keep an eye out for AAA’s, C’s and D’s. Happy charging!

Who said umbrella stands should be old and drab that are usually made of metal? Not anymore! Designed by Gino Colombini, the new sleek, modern and colorful designs from Smart furniture will stand out in your home or office. You will never look at an umbrella stand the same way again. My favorite is the color blue. When the rainy season is over, the umbrella stand may be supplied with a stainless steel upper tray as an ashtray. It’s one of the products of Kartell and their plastics can be easily recycled. Now that’s what I called eco-friendly and fabulous. Gotta love eco-fab products!
