Love iPhones? You should because it’s the coolest mobile phone on the planet. I love their different applications, touch screen and sleek design. Many products came out in the market to protect your beloved iPhone, like invisible shield and silicone case,  but when I saw this wood iPhone shellcase and slipcase from Think Geek, I was blown away. Vers made these cool wooden casing. What I particularly like about it, aside from a good sturdy protection, it’s also not a bacteria magnet. In using silicone casing, depending on the temperature where you live (I live in a tropical country) “sweating” is inevitable. Hence, the silicon casing becomes sticky and germ factory. It is  eco-friendly as well because it is made of bamboo. As we all know, bamboo is a grass and always an available abundant source. If you want something more fancy, you can choose  Walnut or Cherry wood. In feng shui, wood is considered yin. Using wooden casing is particularly beneficial for yang people. It balances the yin and yang in you. Too much yang means unrest.

I admit I love ramen, I can eat ramen anytime of the day. Who doesn’t like ramen? It’s delicious, warm, comforting. It’s one of my favorite “comfort food” to keep me sane. Call me crazy aside from the taste, to be able to enjoy the experience in attacking your ramen, it should be in a noodle cup with chopsticks. Ramen fanatics will swore this is true.

Thank God a ceramic noodle cup was invented! Now no more fear of eating your ramen in toxic plastic cups. The ceramic noodle cup is washable – your ramen cup for life. Ain’t that awesome? It is eco-friendly by reducing plastic cups in the environment. Talk about hitting two birds with one stone – keeping the environment clean and gastric pleasure.

I was cleaning the clutter in my room and I discovered that I collected so many magazines. In fact, I have 2 medium size boxes of old magazines! I was addicted to reading magazines in the past and it became my habit to buy even old editions. My favorite magazines are Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Good House Keeping, Dwell, Entrepreneur to name a few. Now, I just want those boxes out of my room to free some space. After removing the pages that I liked and for future use, I didn’t know what else to do with the rest of the magazines. I thought of giving it away to relatives and friends. But there’s still so many to give away. So when I saw this Storage crate made of recycled rolled magazines, $48 from VivaTerra, it gave me an idea of what to do with the rest. With the help of a glue gun and some card boards, I think I can make one of these fab storage crate.

I support the eco-friendly living. We have so many trash that we can convert into something useful to reduce the garbage in the world. But I have no plans to be like Sustainable Dave, a story of a man who never takes out the trash. I will just reduce the amount of trash I was throwing away by cutting back on the amount of stuff I consume everyday. Wish me luck!

I love using Post-it Sticky Notes. I use it at work and for personal reminders. I like its different colors, in fact the colorful the better. Paper cubes and Post-it sticky notes are life saver to someone like me who likes constant reminders of “to do.” So when I saw the new Post-it sticky notes made from recycled paper, I was elated. I was starting to feel guilty using too much paper. Although its made from only 30% recycled paper, 3M is eco-friendly.  The best part is, paper cubes made from 100% recycled paper is now available!!! Now I can use Post-it sticky notes and paper cubes without feeling guilty.

I stay 8 hours at work. To stay alert and active I make sure I eat well. My routine is heavy breakfast, no morning snack just coffee, medium to heavy lunch, afternoon snack, and a light dinner. I always buy lunch at work because I sometimes can’t cook for I’ll be late for work. So I end up eating what’s available in the Cafeteria or have lunch delivered. I know its not healthy (with all the seasonings they put in the food) and I use too much food containers that adds to the garbage, not to mention I spend money in purchasing heavily packed foods. I stopped using a lot of plastics bags when I go shopping. Instead I use my reusable eco-friendly tote. Hence, to be healthy, save money and to save the earth, I thought of why not I bring a lunch box at work where I can make my own healthy lunch and snacks. So when I found this eco-friendly lunch box in color green, I love it! There’s also color pink and blue.
